[Sea Scout RN Red Ensign]

When a Sea Scout Troop is Recognised by the Royal Navy they may fly a defaced "Red Ensign" which has a Scout Membership Badge with a Golden Crown above it.

Recognised Sea Scouts are inspected every year by the Royal Navy. They must meet tuff standards in order to keep their recognition by the Navy.

The normal Scout progress scheme as well as seamanship progress is one of the many things check by the inspecting Royal Navy Commander

The very top flag is the Troops pennant which is flown during the duration of the camp
