Windermere
This year the Troop is off to Windermere for their two week summer camp. Our
roving web reporter will be on camp to take some pictures for the web. We spoke
to our reporter before he left and he passed this comment for our readers. "I
must apologise for not updating the web site as much this year." he went on to
tell us why, "This year has been very busy with one thing and another and we
have just not found the window in order to work on the site, however the main
problem has been running out of space" Do we hope to address the issue? "Yes we
hope to get more space from someone, no idea who but we are looking a various
options, we do feel it is important to keep the past pictures on the site for
our current members and past members."

Scout Leader Reaches 20 Years
Ken Larner Scout Leader of 2nd Warwick reaches 20 years service with 2nd
Warwick Sea Scouts. It is just amazing what he has done for the troop over the
last 20 years and how many boys and girls have passed through the troop in that
time. This will be Ken's 20th Summer Camp this year 2001, with 2nd Warwick, so
from all members past and current at 2nd Warwick it is a big BRAVO from
us all.
Award Given To Site
We are please to inform you all that we have been award the "Golden
Web Award" All web sites are voted on by the Association members of the
I.A.W.W.D which stands for The International Association
of Web Masters and Designers. We will continue to ensure that our site remains

Summer Camp 2000
Summer camp will be in Llyn Tegid Bala, North Wales this year. Dates to follow. This
will be the last of the 20th Century. 22nd July to 5th August 2000
